Conference Focus The
2007 Conference will focus on the MOT in the service sector of
the economy. From e-commerce to e-government to e-learning, the
service industry is being shaped differently. Over the last few
years technological advances in certain fields like
communication, information technology, automation, internet, and
others have had a great impact on competitiveness and quality of
service. The Conference will give special attention to
innovations, opportunities and threats in the service industry
as a result of new technologies. Best practices in technology
management in manufacturing and service and the role of academic
institutions in preparing the needed human resources for the
technological environment of the 21st century will be
presented.
