The 2007
Conference will focus on the MOT in the service sector of the
economy. From e-commerce to e-government to e-learning, the
service industry is being shaped differently. Over the last few
years technological advances in certain fields like
communication, information technology, automation, internet, and
others have had a great impact on competitiveness and quality of
service. The Conference will give special attention to
innovations, opportunities and threats in the service industry
as a result of new technologies. Best practices in technology
management in manufacturing and service and the role of academic
institutions in preparing the needed human resources for the
technological environment of the 21st century will be presented.

The last date to submit papers is April 15th
Conference Proceedings:
At least one author must be registered and have paid the
registration fee in order for the paper to be included in the CD
of Conference Proceedings.
ANNOUNCEMENT:
SPECIAL MOT EDITORS’ FORUM
During the conference, Wednesday, May 16th from 3:30
– 5:00 p.m.
Editors of MOT journals describe the types of manuscripts they
seek and the editorial review process for their journals. The
session is intended to help authors decide where to submit the
results of their research and to increase the likelihood of
their submissions being published.

Educators
and program directors are invited to attend a special workshop
on IAMOT Accreditation/Certification of MOT graduate programs.
The workshop will be held at the Miami Beach Resort and Spa, the
official IAMOT 2007 conference hotel on Sunday May 13, 2007 from
